COVER ART FRIDAYS #2

Alright my first Theme For A Day! I'm going to post the Coolest Cover Art I've seen this week as well as the runner up if it was close to a tie. The Covers can be old or new, but they are the ones I've actually seen This week.

As I'm nursing my cold with Panadol Hot Blackcurrant (Panadol Cold & Flu) "tea" I'm trying to focus to remember what covers I've seen this week... Right! Here we go!

Clarity by Kim Harrington "Clarity "Clare" Fern sees things. Things no one else can see. Things like stolen kisses and long-buried secrets. All she has to do is touch a certain object, and the visions come to her. It's a gift. And a curse.
When a teenage girl is found murdered, Clare's ex-boyfriend wants her to help solve the case - but Clare is still furious at the cheating jerk."

The cover even though CGI is somehow interesting it draws your eyes to hers, which goes well with the plot.

The colors are nice and light and go with the theme Clarity.

The touch of light reflections is nice touch and makes the cover aery and clear, sun caught in her hair adds to the open feel of the cover...

Beauty Queen by Libba Bray "The fifty contestants in the Miss Teen Dream pageant thought this was going to be a fun trip to the beach, where they could parade in their state-appropriate costumes and compete in front of the cameras. But sadly, their airplane had another idea crashing on a desert island and leaving the survivors stranded with little food, little water, and practically no eyeliner.
What's a beauty queen to do? Continue to practice for the talent portion of the program--or wrestle snakes to the ground? Get a perfect tan--or learn to run wild? And what should happen when the sexy pirates show up?"

The cover isn't beautiful but it's done in fun way, a kitch sort of style, with the lipstick bullet belt and dirty sachs.

The cover does what it is meant to which is turn the to the back cover to read what this is about?!
