        There are no cons in being a Casanova.

        To be one is to see women in a special light, treat them with exceptional poetry albeit composed exclusively to deprive them of their volition. Not many men are fit for such undertaking. Those who are, are gifted troubadours women submit to in search of romance and remember for the rest of their otherwise prosaic lives. 

        Casanovas are witty, charming, at times coy but always warm and never boring. Like Batman, Casanova roams the night but saves the day.

This exotic erotica reads a bit like a manual of sexology, which features heavily in the novella. Carnal Devices very sciency and explanatory and delves into the life of India in a psychological manner. For an erotica title it was quite brainy and the first half was almost all explaining and background - which I admit I wasn't fond of for erotica.

I did find myself wanting to skip a little when it got too "heavy" - now by heavy I don't mean sex, but a lot of talk and researching the mind. Like I mentioned above half of the book was just talk, now the last part of the novella was more up my alley, we get seduction, and some pretty serious fornication in the cathedral, a threesome and some steamy carriage ride M/M which sure, is hot but not something read. I also found the steampunk sex toys an interesting touch, you don't see those everyday!

Oh how I want this to be a series! U.K. KINK is a great short and sexy summer read sure to make you wanna go visit London! The story of Cait taking care of five rough and rowdy male strippers turns hot quite quick, just the way we like it in erotic romance! The story is light, superbly sexy and entertaining the anticipation spices things up but the main even for once (!) is over shadowed by what goes down... and oh boy do I mean it! Just imagine four sexy as hell, muscled guys making sure your birthday party in bed is unforgettable. I'd ad a snippet here, but I'm afraid it might melt your panties. ;)

I was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of characters, I want to know what happens to each and everyone of these boys! They are fun, entertaining and as sexy as only bad boys can be. Added to that is wit and O'Shea's writing which is top notch! O'Shea manages to take a subject that could be easily cheesy and makes it hot, entertaining and dramatic, and manages to give us a happy ending with these boys... story-wise ladies, again mind off gutter. ;)

The romance was there and oh how well made - we have all the womanly insecurities with Cait and how she thinks she looks, and moments of unabashed pleasure delivered by Olly and rest of his male stripper troupe, tied and wrapped up in a pretty little erotic romance novella that is pound to leave you bit bothered. And if you aren't married you'll need toys. ;) Ahem... who said that?! Okay then... the only way this could have been any hotter is if Olly had gone all the way with Cait on his little obsession, what I mean by this is... well you'll just have to go find yourself a copy to blush with. And with $1.99 this is A FIND!

Niina : My pleasure, now let’s get started! Can you tell my readers here 5 fun unknown facts about you so we can break the ice?

Tabitha : It's not generally known that I'm a Linux geek, a crocheter, a gamer, a dulcimer player and that my best friend is 20 years younger than I am.

Niina : Tell us little about your "The Misadventures of Alex T’Kayn", what’s it about?

Tabitha : Alexandra T'Kayn is a galactic treasure hunter and this book is a compilation of two of her earliest adventures. She ends up running into some of the sexiest villains of her life as well as just as sexy heroes. She gets in quite a bit of trouble but has quite a bit of fun along the way.

Niina : Exactly like I would have put it too. ;) What kinda of woman does it take to write erotica and erotic romance?

Tabitha : I think it takes someone who is willing to think about sex with an open mind, a person who is willing to learn and put that knowledge to work. It helps to have a partner who is open and supportive.

Niina : What would you say is your most interesting writing quirk?

Tabitha : I really have trouble writing when the TV is on. I don't know how interesting that is, but that's a weird quirk in my family.

Niina : How did your cover come about, or what’s your opinion of it?

Tabitha : This cover is a second edition cover, which was designed and created by me. Amongst my other interests, I am a digital artist and work in media like Daz Studio and Photoshop. This one is a bit more 'hunky beefcake' than the first one, which was more 50's Pulp Sci-Fi. Since I am my cover artist, I have to work within the guidelines of my publisher for the line the book is being published in, so she requested I do a new cover in this style. While I like it, I do prefer my original cover(!)

Niina : What does it take to write a really hot love scene?

Tabitha : For me, I need to be alone to think. Music sometimes, silence sometimes. It depends really on how I am feeling. If I need to focus or if I'm 'in the zone' where it flows much easier, like most of my writing.

Niina : What makes a hero sexy?

Tabitha : At least a bit of a Villainous nature. I really don't find the 'good guys' sexy.

Niina : Yes, definitely needs to have bad boy in them. ;) Now to more personal questions! What’s the sexiest article of clothing on a guy?

Tabitha : A waistcoat (vest). I can't tell you why though!

Niina : Oh, tease! ;) Sexiest movie star crush?

Tabitha : Believe it or not, I've never had crushes on any movie stars. I've had crushes on characters though.

Niina : What about, what is your favorite guilty treat/pleasure?

Tabitha : Cookies!

Tabitha : Vampires (unless they sparkle... real vampires don't sparkle).

Alright, I wasn't very fond of the writing, all the basics were there, the story telling, the action, the red hot sex but the fine tuning was missing. I needed more subtlety, quiet moments where we got bang-bang-bang of all sorts. The author stated Star Wars movie as inspiration and it read like a movie in the sense that it was one action scene after another. Which, hey, isn't always a bad thing!

Like I mentioned the sex was sizzling hot especially with the somewhat sinister antics of some darker characters. As erotica this was excellent! I especially loved the seduction voodoo going on with a vampiric baddies and Alex's race, made for a a really hot sex-drug plot twist!

I have a always loved a spunky heroine that's not dumb-brave, you know where they head over to trouble against all common sense - I was very happy with the spunkiness/braveness ratio of Alex, I always do root for a strong heroine with smarts added on top!

This said I think sci-fi action readers will love this it's real fast pace and also sheets scorching  hot! No big romance plot, but a lot creative, very detail, bedroom antics and a whole lot of action!

Niina : Welcome to For The Love of Reading, Ms. Metal, I’m glad you could make it!

Scarlett Metal : Thanks for having me today! I’m happy to be here.

Niina : Let’s get started! Can you tell my readers here 4 fun unknown facts about you so we can break the ice?

Scarlett : 1. My fav movie is Gone with the Wind. 2. I have mad Yoda speaking skills. 3. I write erotica but my favorite author is Jen Lancaster. She’s so funny! 3. My first concert was Skid Row.

Niina : Speak Yoda I do too. ;) Tell us what Naughty Girl is about? And who made the cover? ;) ( that’d be me! ;) )

Scarlett : Naughty Girl is about a sassy bedroom submissive that finally meets her match in the dominant Paul. I don’t want to give too much away. And yes, you made it for me probably about a year or longer ago. I finally had the nerve to publish.

Niina : ;) What does it take to write a really hot love scene?

Scarlett : Usually good music and the mood has to strike me. It’s weird how that happens.

Niina : What chapter did you most enjoyed writing and why?

Scarlett : I like writing the sexy scenes. Honestly, they are the easiest for me.

Niina : What’s the best compliment you’ve received on your writing? And who complimented you?

Scarlett : A ready read my latest release and told me that they had to go get my other books. I also like it when a reader tells me that their husband thanks me too. ;-)

Niina : LOL! Now to more personal questions! Which Disney Prince would you pick if you had to choose?

Scarlett : The one from Tangled. He’s not a prince though is he? He’s rough around the edges though and I like that.

Ms. Claus's List is something oh so funny! And yet sexy, a proper erotica with a very witty Christmas feel and genius writing! Basically when Nicholas is a way Freida turns north pole to a club and the elves sure play. ;) Note, hot elves, muscled, backed hot elves. Now I liked how much back story there was admits all the witty lines and comical scenes, the twins being immortal descendants of goddess Freya and mortal - quite interesting.

Ms. Claus was quite the character, she was funny, bit snotty, cute and adorable but with a wicked sexy streak - that doesn't come often so she was much fun to read. But bare in mind this is erotica. ;)

I love the plot for the third book in the series! Santa and Jack Frost. Wow. ;) ( not that I read M/M - just sounds fun )
