After being let go of her Vassar professorship Becca lands an interview in Oklahoma due to her sister's medling, now while spending one night in the city she also decides to let her hair down and erase her bastard of an ex out of her mind with one night with a bull riding cowboy. But when she accepts the job and find outs her Cowboy is now a co-worker it spell trouble.

I have always loved Cat Johnson's writing, her plots are just fast pace enough so the focus is always squarely on the sizzling romance, the dialogue is fresh and realistic and the characters have both depth and wit and a sexy adventurous side - like honey bear scene... sure gives you ideas! ;) Now the reason I dropped one star of this rating was the phone calls from Becca's sister, they were repeating what was previously covered and it caused me to skip pages.

I absolutely loved Tuck, a bull riding cowboy with spectacular sexual stamina, not to mention a hot soldier, seriously who wouldn't tap that? ;) But he also had that protective side that brought in the romance and the warm and fluffies. I did have one altercation as Tuck was going to a war zone just to save Becca's job, there was dome yelling, I kid you not.

Becca was well over shadowed by Tuck's character, or maybe it was those long phone calls for me, but we got along good regardless. Becca was endearing, sweet but sure came alive around Tucker. There was also a good set of really good supporting characters like Logan, Jace and Emma which are all getting their own chance at love in other Oklahoma Nights novels. Can't wait!

In closing, One Night With A Cowboy is a more slow pace Cat Johnson ride that picks up at the end. So if you enjoy opposits attract love stories with hot cowboys ( just see the cover again ) turn army hottie with lots or creative boots knocking then this is for you!

The story was good, and who can resist a cover like that, there is just something a bout a well built guy and dog tags, am I right? Okay but about the story, I realized reading this that I'm not the target audience though I read tons of romance - why you might ask? Well because being Scandinavian I've never gotten the american patriotism - so to be honest all the military stuff kinda went over my head.

That said I did enjoy Evan and Claire as characters their emotional depths and their passion, I loved it how they sort of rant around each other testing the waters without taking a dip - but that said they did have fire and chemistry when they got together.

Rating Until There Was You is going to be two sided sword for me, on one hand I loved the chemistry and the dance but in the other the military side put me off in the sense that I didn't get it, which means I also never got fully invested while reading. I guess I'll just have to go halfsies and hope you caught my drift.

Also aren't mates suppose to try procreate once a month? How come her mates are jumping at the change to mate with her, and why does she find it hot as hell?

Oh yummyness! Okay this is so my kind of sci-fi, filled with hot muscled guys in military uniforms, sizzling individual introductions and one hot foursome, space, explosions and adventure! Seriously, what is there not to like? Well, I couldn't think of anything. The story line is simple which leaves plenty of room for all kinds of hot action but not without loosing the plot. Graham reminds me of one of my fave authors Eve Langlais, she has that same fun, witty feel to her writing, plus lots of yummy bedroom/shower/command center scenes!

I'm gonna go through each one because these things just need to be said! Vadim was so amazingly sexy, Russian ice giant with a delicious Dom side, he had Anna at the first kiss, and some... and let me tell you his authority in and outside of the bedroom was big turn on. Kojo was the emotions of the bunch, he was the one with spouts of jealousy but some nice moves when he got to show what he was made of. Marco was the Italian heartthrob, smooth talking, flirting, seductive part of the general trio. Anna was the lead but also the comical relief when things got quite hot in the living quarters, she was amusing, funny and her fantasy of old fashion Earth love was interesting addition to the story.

The romance in Anna and the Three Generals was super hot, as an erotic romance must be! A short story packed full of sexual tension, action and three really hot guys with the pleasure of their mate in mind! This story comes highly recommended by me if you have a thing for erotic ménage sci-fi romance novellas!

And this is a series ladies, how fun is that!

Colin's story is quite dark, his wife dies giving birth to their daughter while he's away in the special ops. He breaks down, gives the girl to his wife's sister to raise. He truly doesn't believe he deserve his daughters love and the fact that he's beginning to have feeling to Emily scares him to the core.

Colin and Emily's story is short but I actually liked Emily's determination to help Colin until it truly is over. Colin's team mate Bobby making Colin jealous over Emily was fun to read as well!

Short, redeeming and somewhat sexy Second Chances was good but was missing either that extra sexiness or bit more sexual tension to be addictive.

Niina : Let’s get started! Can you tell my readers here 4 fun unknown facts about you so we can break the ice?

Debbie : Lets see, I'm Scottish, my left thumb is double jointed, I'm recently single and I love skinny dipping. Oh, wait, this isn't a dating site is it?

Niina : Tell us little about your novella Second Chance, what’s it about?

Debbie : Ahhhh, Second Chance. It's really about just what the title says, but also about forgiving yourself and letting yourself move on. My hero lost his wife in childbirth while he was away on a mission and had never forgiven himself for not being there when she needed him. I've actually caught a little flak from a few readers. Because of the guilt he felt, he distanced himself from the infant daughter that was born that night. But the way I see it is we all grieve in our own ways and men react to situations totally different than women do. He felt, if he was in her life, he'd end up letting her down too or losing her someway. To some readers, they felt this was the wrong way for him to handle things. They are totally right, but like I said, men in particular are not known for using their emotions wisely, lol.  BUT, he does come around and make it right in a big way.

Niina : What made you want to write for the 1NightStand series? (I’m a fan myself, I love the series)

Debbie : I'd read a few of them and just LOVED the idea. So I started plucking away at my own.

Niina : What scene did you most enjoyed writing and why?

Debbie :They scene where Colin's best friend, Bobby, basically tells him what an idiot he's been and to smarten up or he'll go after the girl himself. Bobby really tells him straight up how it is and is willing to literally pound it into him if he has too, lol.

Niina : What do you think makes your hero sexy?

Debbie : Beyond his gorgeous body, the man really does have a heart of gold, misguided though it may be. When he loves, he loves deeply.

Niina : What are you working on right now? Can you give us a sneak peak?

Debbie :  My writing partner and I are actually working on Bobby's story right now. Lemme see if I can find a little tid-bit to share of Bobby.

A fierce craving shot through Bobby, arrowing straight to the growing bulge that strained against his pants zipper. Damn, she was hot and gorgeous and, hell yeah, he wanted her. All that blonde hair, those wet lips, and luscious curves—a guy would have to be dead not to. Instinct screamed that he throw her to the floor and bury himself deep inside her, but thank God his brain had the good sense to demand otherwise. He needed to watch for her cues, or the whole thing could go south.

Niina : Now to more personal questions! What’s the sexiest article of clothing on a guy?

Debbie : Carhartt pants. They snuggle right up to a guys butt perfectly. Love em.

Niina : Would you rather meet real vampires or werewolves?

Debbie : Vampire, I guess. They seem sexier than werewolves somehow.

Niina : Your favorite dangerous fictional bad boy, and why him?

Debbie : Mark Wahlberg in FEAR. Oh my gosh he was a THE dangerous bad boy in that movie. He started off as THAT bad boy all the girls would go for, edgy, dark, sexy. Then he turn psychotic, lol. Great movie and he played the heck out of that part.

Niina : What is your favorite guilty treat/pleasure?

Debbie : Red Velvett cake. Love the stuff!!!!!

John Rose : Thank you for inviting me ma’am. I am currently Serving as a Sergeant with the United States Army.

Niina : Military... you got to be in shape for that! What would you say is the best part about your job?

John : It is my belief that I am doing something for the greater good of my nation and there is no greater honor then to be able to serve your country.

Niina : What about family, do you have some…  any brothers maybe?

John : My brothers and sisters all wear camo ma’am.

Niina : Now I heard there’s something going on with you and a paramedic, can you elaborate on that?

John : I don’t feel it would be appropriate to discuss any association with Miss Grant other than to state we are currently exploring the possibility of a relationship. Besides a gentleman never kisses and tells.

Niina : Yes, quite right. Now what do you like to do when you’re not working?

John : I enjoy spending down time with Miss Grant and her family, one of which recently reacquainted with the joy of Saturday morning cartoons.

Niina : If you could choose between  pizza and fine dining, say when taking your paramedic out, which would you choose?

John : Pizza, takeout, eaten in our room, I mean my room.

Niina : Do you read, if you do what’s your favorite genre and why?

John :  Military Strategy, though I have recently received a copy of the Kama Sutra. Strictly, for professional research you understand.

Niina : Yes, of course, that’s essential for your job. ;) Now you got to keep yourself fit, what kind of exercise you like doing?

John : I run every day and we have a gym in our..uhm..we have a gym on base. I also believe that a good soldier looks to expand physical fitness by extracurricular means.
