This is book one of the ICE: Black Ops Defenders miniseries from Harlequin Romantic Suspense"  ~ From Goodreads

Tempted by Danger was one sexy thrill ride, you got a smart mathlete, jungle, bad guys on the hunt and one dark, hot, sexy special ops hero who does everything in his power to keep the math genius safe. Tempted by Danger has lots of action, excellent writing and the perfect balance of romance and suspense! I want more, like right now! Gimme. Melissa Cutler is a force of romantic suspense nature! She got you hooked immediately and before you know what's happening she's made you invested on the main characters both romantically and emotionally, you just have to know what will happen next, if you don't you'll be all jittery and thinking about it until you can get your hands on the book again.

Let's talk Diego Santero, where to begin, the determination, the skill, the smoking hot body in a wet black t-shirt... ahem. Yeah, totally hot package who's main goal is to keep you safe and when the occasion allows give you multiple orgasms. ;) What's not to love?! He did have that delicious dilemma of feeling not good enough for Vanessa, he felt she deserved someone who wasn't away at missions at all times coming and going when ever, and that came near to ruining the romance, how dare he! ;)

Vanessa was so much fun to read, her decision to no longer run after guys was refreshing and entertaining, and her doing math really turned Diego on and her reactions to that were cute. I liked her guts and bravery, and wanting to be an asset instead of a burden, which of course rounded up to an excellent finale! You'll love this smart girl too I'm sure, and her sane reactions to danger and her not so sane addiction to Diego. ;)

I'm really looking forward to reading more ICE: Black Ops Defenders novels, I'm dying to know whats gonna happen with Ryan, John and Alicia! Dying! Melissa Cutler has done a great job creating an addictive new series with lots of heat and edgy heroes! Great job!

"Up close and personal—with her bodyguard!

It seems mayor's daughter Miranda Kravitz has scored herself a new and very dreamy bodyguard! Apparently the fireworks between them are scorching, but will this tabloid darling really be willing to give up her newfound taste for freedom—no matter how gorgeous Tyler Brannigan is?

Rumor has it Brannigan hates playing by the rules and has used up all his strikes with the NYPD vice squad. So now this cop's paying his dues with a temporary assignment as babysitter. If anyone can keep this Manhattan princess in check, surely it's this tough-guy detective? Hopefully handcuffs won't be necessary!"  ~ From Goodreads

Contemporary romance at its freshest! Just look at the colorful Spring cover! Her Man In Manhattan has enough suspense to keep things fast pace, a hottie-crumpy bodyguard to keep things interesting, and a celebutante with a big heart and big plans to ditch the afformentioned bodyguard stirring trouble. Then Ms. Wylie adds attraction, few hot battle of wills and we got one entertaining romance. Whats with the no sex though? :( That's one star off the collar.

I really enjoyed Tyler's brooding tough guy image, his irish charm and his protective instinct, the candle he was burning for 'the other girl' I didn't get but I think it was from a previous novel of the brothers. I enjoyed his wit and his tactics to keep Miranda at bay, yummy stuff!

Miranda was very likeable after the first few pages where she's, let's face it, bit snobby. But you soon get to see her desire to be more than a mayor's trophy daughter and political tool and her heart for those less fortunate. Ofcourse her antics in escaping her private security to have some free time with her bestfriend are entertaining and her banter with Tyler amusing and flirty.

If you are looking for a sweet but flirty fun novel set in a big town with the local celebrity and a brooding bodyguard have a match of wills and wit, then look no further! Here you go, Her Man In Manhattan!

Now with the promise to keep both hands on each other at all times, they share a night together. Loyalties are tested when Gwen manages to swipe the key away, and Colin discovers the code carefully embedded into Gwen’s tramp stamp tattoo in a glow of UV light. When morning comes they must decide if what they feel for each other is worth betraying their agencies."  ~ From Goodreads

A fun little romantic suspense love story. Hand On Me was a quick read but managed to have in it few kicks and bunches, two sexy agents and one night that changed their lives all together.

Gwen and Colin were a good match but with the shortness of the story you really didn't get very invested with them, but I liked the idea of two agents having crossed paths before without being able to investigate where their passionate nights may lead.

Hands On Me gives you a quick secret agent read, little bit of action both on and off the bed, but it was too short to really love, some character depth would have helped, but in all a good short story worth reading.

          "Stop!" A man yelled.
The barrel of another gun met her inches from her face. She tensed, not from the gun, but from the familiar inflection in his voice. The position of both their weapons hid the man's face.
"Get in and lower your gun, or we'll both lose."
"Back up and lower yours, or you won't have a hand left." No one told her what to do, not ever again. The click of her cocking her weapon echoed around them.
He stepped back. "Get in and close the door."
With her gun still raised, she stepped and waited for her opponent to flinch first.
"Now." He moved a fraction of an inch.
She did the same, and with the silent acknowledgement they would both comply, they lowered their guns in unison. She almost shot herself in the foot at the sight of the man who greeted her. Before she made a mistake, she de-cocked her gun and shook her head. "Colin?" Her body betrayed her by trembling. Was this her punishment?
"Gwen." He shoved the gun in his waistband. "You're the one. I would have never guessed."
Think. She screamed at herself to remember her training, and not allow him to best her or distract her. She glanced around the room, giving her time to not look at him. Agents were supposed to be everyday people and blend in, but Colin Alexander stood out. From the moment she quite literally fell into his lap through a two-story ceiling three years ago, she wasn't sure why his agency chose such a standout. She supposed his combed-back black hair and golden eyes were some bizarre form of female torture.

Marcus and Rebecca have instant chemistry, burning hot and dangerous, they're chance meeting at the airport and in a tech convention leaves them both hot and contemplating a fling. But the things is Marcus and Rebecca don't exist...

Tantum and Nala do and they have sworn to bring each other down, only neither knows what the other looks like. As NESA agents they know nothing more of each other than their ID numbers.

When Nala learns Marcus/Tantum is the man who killed her partner three years ago nothing will stop her vengeance. And when Tantum learns Rebecca/Nala is the target he's been hunting for for the bombing three years ago he swears to leave the lust and protectiveness he feels for her behind him and catch the killer. But nothing is ever fair in love and espionage...

First things first, when I started reading The Risque Target I simply couldn't put the nook down until I was all done with it. And that my friends is a tell tale sign that I am reading an awesome book! The Risque Target is full of the most delicious sexual temptation that never gives up, it's literally there all the time and it's so so yummy! But sexual temptation would be nothing if the writing wasn't excellent, and in Gendron's case it is! Gendron's a joy to read, the text is easy flowing, modern and laced with tons of excitement to keep the reader hooked!

I loved the plot, it was so good, three dimensional, there were sub-plots, bad guys, guns and an agent with superpower weapon of seduction. Without revealing too much I loved how someone was puppeteering both of them to attack each other and turn a blind eye to them. I really enjoyed hearing from both Nala and Tantum, it gave the book the urgency of erotic romance without having sex in every corner - though with these two I would have not mind seeing that - such hot chemistry!

The romance was so hot! And it build to the actual act, it was a slow burning seduction one that every woman wants to experience, so, lucky Nala! What I especially loved about the romance was the instant attraction they had, the playful flirting when they didn't know they were after each other. But even after learning their real identities they still couldn't do the hands-off, and that ladies is what great romance is all about!

The only critique I have is Tantum's name, it almost put me off reading the book - see I have this pet peeve about weird/altered character names I just can't stand them, like Jamie/Jaemie, Christina/Crisetina or Elizabeth/Eleasabet... I could go on. In this case though Tantum was such a great character that my mind was okay calling him Tatum in my head. ;) Serious note to all writers: there is nothing wrong with normal names.
