INTERVIEW & REVIEW - MR. BUFF (+18 ONLY)

Niina : Welcome to For The Love of Reading, Ms. Angel , I’m glad you could make it!

April Angel : Thank you for having me at such a fun blog. I love your set-up.

Niina : Thanks! Let’s get started! Can you tell my readers here 4 fun unknown facts about you, so we can break the ice?

April : I call my son pukibear. My best friend lives in England. I love oldies ( Minnie Riperton, Patti Labelle, etc ) and I sing in the shower.

Niina : Now tell us little about Mr. Buff, what’s it about? Other than a very well built man. ;)

April : Mr. Buff is the story of Andrew and Alexandra. She’s a woman that’s normally sure of herself but with her last break-up ended up low on self-esteem. Andrew knows what he wants. For a while he’s wanted Alex, but she was taken. When they find each other in a club and he realizes she’s single, all bets are off.

Niina : What’s the best part about being an erotic romance writer?

April : Being free to write any scene as I please. I think certain genres can make an author have to really draw lines and tip toe around how to word love/sex scenes and that’s just way too aggravating for me. I like to write it as I visualize it.

Niina : What does it take to write a really hot love scene?

April : Silence LOL. Yes, I need absolute silence when I write. Most of the time I wear ear plugs at home. I go into deep visualization and need to be focused into what I am trying to say/describe. Noise takes me out of the zone.

Niina : How do you write, chapter here and there or follow from beginning to an end?

April : Usually I write from beginning to end. There are times I will take down notes on how I want something to flow or end, but for the most part I follow a mental script.

Niina : What chapter did you most enjoyed writing and why?

April : For Mr. Buff I loved writing the club scene. I enjoyed the naughtiness of knowing there were people right across the glass but they were so involved in what they were doing that nobody knew.

Niina : How did you find your cover and if you didn't take part in the search, what is your opinion of it?

April : The cover was created by the art department at Etopia Press. I love it. I think it depicts Mr. Buff perfectly and gives a glimpse of the sexy Alex at the same time.

Niina : Now to more personal questions! What’s the sexiest article of clothing on a guy?

April : Boxers. I think seeing a good-looking man in just a pair of boxers is so sexy. Think back Mark Wahlberg and the Calvin Klein ads. LOL.

Niina : Well indeed! ;) Sexiest movie star crush?

April : Vin Diesel. Everyone will tell you he’s my biggest movie star crush. That voice gets to me every time.

Niina : Oh I used to be a big fan too, yeah it’s the voice. ;) What’s the naughtiest book you've read this year?

April : LOL! Oh this is good. I read a lot of E-Rom. So quite a few. But if I had to choose, I’d say it is Cynthia Sax’s Ménage Lost: 5 ( Operation Erotic ).  She’s a great friend and she based her heroine on me, so I ended up in my own super hot ménage.

Niina : LOL! Well that’s just cool!  What’s the biggest turn on in a guy, fictional or real life?

April : A great smile. I tell you, a nice smile can totally make me warm up to a guy in no time.

Niina : Which Disney Prince would you pick if you had to choose?

April : The Beast from Beauty and The Beast. He was misunderstood and he learned a lesson about judging others, but more than that, despite how he looked, he was a loveable character.

Niina : What is your favorite guilty pleasure?

April : Chocolate. Any and all forms. Must be either milk or white (dark gives me migraines)

Niina : Before we finish, here are some Quick Fire Questions:

The moon or the sun?  Moon
Formula 1 or Nascar? Nascar
Hockey or Football? Football
Boots or Flip Flops?  Flip Flops
Shots or Wine? Lol Shots
Fair: Popcorn or Cotton candy? Popcorn

Scarier: Ghosts or Demons?  Ghosts
Men: Alpha-male or Sexy Millionaire? Alpha-male all the way baby!
Men: Bad boys or Good guys? Bad boys
Men: Muscled or Slim? Muscled
Knights or Kings? Knights
Romance: Fallen Angels or Sexy Demons?  Sexy Demons *sigh*
Romance: Firemen or Cowboys? Firemen
Romance: Historical or Paranormal? Paranormal
Sexier: Kisses or Licks? Oh god lord! Bites! lol

Niina : You’re deviating from the questions Ms. Angel… I but I like that, bites it is. :D

Sexier : A guy holding your hand or touching your hair? hair touching…so sexy
Sexier : Eyes or Lips? Mmm eyes.
Romance or Erotic Romance? LOL Erotic Romance
Erotica or Erotic Romance? Erotic Romance

Niina : Thanks for visiting the For The Love of Reading, April! Any news would you like to share with your readers, or websites they can check out?

April : Thank you again for having me over. I have a new book coming soon ( January 4th ) called Stranded Temptation. I also write as Milly Taiden ( Paranormal Erotic Romance ) And I can be found at:

"Every morning, Alexandra drinks in the sexy vision of Mr. Buff through his office window across the street. He takes his workouts seriously, and Alexandra never misses the opportunity to see him return, sweaty and pumped, to his office suite to shower. Turns out Andrew enjoys the view just as much as she does and can't take his eyes off the woman who makes his blood roar.

But when Alexandra bumps into Mr. Buff at a club, things go from visual to physical. And much to her delight, she learns that Mr. Buff is really Mr. Dominant. She loves spending time with him and getting to know him the way nature intended, but she's looking for more than a fling. How's she supposed to make Mr. Buff realize he's Mr. Right?"  ~ From Goodreads

These days I tend to stay away from bdsm books, but I thought to give Mr. Buff a chance. Even though with a strong romantic element and plot Mr. Buff read almost like erotica, there is tons of sex, and I mean a lot and it's hot ( if you like a bit domination in your reading ). The bdsm element didn't go over board with me, I hate it when guys come off over the top in regular life. Basically I like to read when a man is firm in the bedroom, but not outside it. That's my turf. ;) Mr. Buff though had a right amount of firm behind closed doors, but as the book also had no sex scenes we were good.

I liked Alexandra she was funny, intelligent and I loved her recently crushed ego which made her little hesitant with Andrew, instead of being too brash or annoyingly self confident with a hot guy. She gave the story dimension.

Okay so Andrew, how can you not love him! I did, except in few parts where it felt like he was just saying what all women wanna hear but at the first date - that would have been creepy in real life. Wanting to adopt and looking for the right thing and talking of the two of them as 'we'. Too much too soon.

The romance was very hot and heavy and fast - but that totally normal for a novella. I did like how Andrew was the surer half of the relationship - I always do enjoy the guy knowing what he wants and getting it, especially when the girl is hesitant.

BOOK SPOTLIGHT - THE RELUCTANT SANTA (GIVEAWAY)

"Colin McDermott has one last chance to get Christmas right.

Since his mother abandoned him on Christmas Eve never to return, Colin McDermott has hated Christmas and sworn never to have children.

But this year two angels are giving him everything he didn't want. A Santa suit, a child and a chance at love again. This is his last chance to learn the true meaning of Christmas."

Excerpt:

“His soul is mine,” Devon, the devil's angel, said. He watched the humans, who were oblivious to his presence, gathered in the sales office. One of the best things about being an angel was his ability to pop into just about anywhere and spy on his subjects without their knowledge. He could observe the humans as if were watching a play and even occasionally act as director.

A chill wind howled outside the downtown Denver office, heralding the arrival of winter and the holiday season. The perfect time of year to increase his soul count. Devon studied his next soul, a brown-haired young man with expressive brows and a quirky grin. Unbeknownst to him, the salesman's life meter was about to expire unless he made drastic changes.

“Devon," a voice echoed into the atmosphere before the being that irritated him the most shimmered into his vision. “Doing a soul count before he's yours?”

Slowly, an angel materialized, clad from head to toe in a white leather jacket and white knee-high boots fit snug over white leather pants. A gold belt around her waist, held a cross that signified sergeant, angel, first class. Her halo was tilted at a rakish angle. In earth terms, Gabriella looked hot.

“Whoever is in charge of your wardrobe, I like the changes they've made,” Devon said, letting his eyes rake her until a searing heat reminded him he was crossing boundaries. "Please tell me they ditched the boring robes."

With a toss of her blonde hair, her blue eyes flashed, glinting silver as her brows rose.

“My robes are hardly boring, but no, one of my cases is a motorcyclist. I'm riding shotgun today, trying to keep him from splattering all over the highway. The robes kept blowing up in my face, so I found a solution.”

"Nice!" Devon shook his head and forced his eyes back to the human whose life he'd soon influence. “I thought your promotion at Easter took you out of the saving souls division.”

Gabriella smiled as the air around her shimmered. Why didn’t the angels from purgatory patrol get that shimmery essence?

“Devon, we work so…well together” she said, drawing out the word until he wanted to snap at her. He held onto his temper.

“We're all looking for ways to make quota this time of year. Only the strongest stay out of the pit, and every time I come up against you, I lose. But not this time. This one belongs to me,” he announced, staring at the man whose only interest in life was making money. No family, no girlfriends, no friends— just work and money.

Gabriella tsked. “Now why would you want to send this poor man to hell for eternity? He just needs a little coaxing to choose the right path.”

Devon sighed. “His time is about to expire. I'm here to collect his soul.”

“Maybe,” she said. “Unless, I can give him some guidance and save him from evil.”

“Not this time. Heavenly angels may not be able to play dirty, but I can,” he said, smiling at Gabriella. “And I intend to win this one.” Gabriella laughed.

"Always so arrogant, Devon." She glanced at their human. “His case is challenging, but I'm certain I can help him.”

She turned toward Devon, her brows rising. “Playing dirty landed you where you are now. Why should I expect anything less?”

“How I got here doesn’t matter. I need this soul,” he snapped. "You make your soul count or the big man sends you back to the pit to fight and claw your way back for another chance."

“And Colin McDermott needs to be saved,” Gabriella said, swirling back to their subject. “I mean, look at the poor man. He has no idea his priorities are in the wrong place. He's a selfish, greedy man because he's unloved."

“Love!" Devon exclaimed. "You heavenly angels think loving someone solves everything.”

Gabriella shook her head at Devon, her blue eyes darkening with some sort of power. “Even you deserved love, Devon. In fact, if I had been your angel, I would found someone to show you love. Hopefully, you'd have been smart enough to grab the lifeline."

“Well, you weren't my angel, and now I'm the big man's soul catcher.”

“It's simple, Devon. Why would you want to lure more men into the darkness you already face?” she asked.

Devon clenched his fist, struggling to control the frustration that spiraled through him. Hell was not a place anyone planned on going. “The pit!" he said. "Let’s just concentrate on the human.”

"I already was." She contemplated Colin McDermott. “He's quite handsome with those long, sandy lashes and sparkling honey eyes. If I were human, one look and he’d melt my heart.”

“Women on earth know he's not a good risk. I could wrap this case up before Christmas, if you weren't here."

“Too bad. I'm here to keep you from destroying him,” she said, giving him a stern frown. “The poor soul has no idea of what he's about to face. I'm sure you’ve got some nasty surprises in store for him, some hard to resist temptations. But hopefully, with my guidance, he'll make the changes his life needs.”

Devon shook his head. “No, by Christmas he’ll be mine. Count on it."

I got to say I quite loved Claimed by Dragons, even though the beginning dragged on and I was tempted to read something else it soon enough picked up and I was hooked. There was a lot more science fiction in this than I expected, but in a good way - it was still very much a shifter romance but I loved the sci-fi angle. I don't know how Skyze and Leon worked this duo but they mesh well and there isn't obvious lines drawn on writers and their style. I'm always so tempted to try and figure out who is writing who, but here I just went with the story. Claimed by Dragons is well written, fun, exciting and definitely sexy in all the yummy ways!

Now to characters! Roarke the Alpha of the dragons was quite intimidating dark, powerful and strict but ended up being more gentle in the bedroom than Kypton who was blond, slighter in built, shyer but had a real dominating streak when it came to sex. And that little mix-up was delicious! Both men were entertaining to read and their relationship with each other was quite loving, I really never read M/M but I liked Roarke and Kypton together even when Jael wasn't there.

Jael was alright, she had some fire and guts, but I couldn't really relate to her, she was bit too brazen at times to be believable - but then she had gentler moments and those I really liked.

I enjoyed the angle on the romance, Roarke's demise if he doesn't get mated created a nice urgency to the story, but let's face it it was all there to begin with so all they needed was to fess up and it was good. What I really liked was the covert group OKSG coming at them to make falling in love and mating a lot harder, it had a cool little Da Vinci Code vibe to it.

I loved all the romance, and I loved the erotic side of Claimed by Dragons! With slightly more believable characters and nixing or mixing the past in there differently this would have been 5 star for me. But at 4 stars you can see it wasn't a big deal, and I very much enjoyed the whole book!

BOOK SPOTLIGHT - FORWARD PASSES (GIVEAWAY)

"Quarterback Tyler Harris is about to find the woman who can get past his defensive line and reach his heart.
With two championships in as many years, superstar Tyler Harris is the best quarterback in the league. Gorgeous and rich, he’s at the top of his game. But everyone’s looking to take him down. There’s a building media frenzy around an unfortunate accident, and the only safe place seems a rundown mansion deep in the San Juans and owned by his late great uncle. There, Tyler gets sacked by the sassy redhead next door. It’s more alive than he’s felt in years.

Lavender Mead has a good reason to dislike jocks, namely an absentee father who deserted the family to coach college football. Maybe that explains her penchant for bad boys who play ball for a living and break hearts for a hobby. Her new neighbor seems just the type. Yet, something is different about Tyler, and sometimes love requires a Hail Mary. You draw back your arm, pray…and give it all up to fate. And sometimes you win your ring."

“…is an author not to be missed!”
~USA Today Bestselling Author Lucy Monroe~

There are two things I've always wanted to do since I was a young child: to write books and to ride horses. The riding I've been doing for years. Until recently, I only dabbled in writing.
I completed my first story at the age of five. I titled it "Wildfire" (about a horse, of course) and illustrated it myself. I still have the book stowed away in the attic somewhere.
I've written stories all of my life. They were my secret garden, my escape from the realities of the world. I never shared them with anyone. I'd hide them away and bring them out when the mood struck me.
I frequented several fan fiction sites on the Internet. As I was reading those stories, I thought I can do that.

Four years ago, I posted my first two chapters on a fan fiction site. My hands shook. My stomach lurched. NEVER had I let anyone read my stories before. What if my writing was garbage? What if everyone hated it? It was a soul-baring moment. Fortunately, they loved it. It became quite popular. Several people who'd befriended me on that fan fic site encouraged me to pursue my writing on a more professional level.
Being a devoted reader of romance and an advocate of happy endings, it was only natural to choose romance as my focus. I joined the Romance Writers of America, and the Olympia RWA chapter.

Six months and 105,000 words later, I finished my first manuscript, The Dance. Named after Garth Brooks' popular song, the original ending wasn't happily ever after, but I quickly changed that small detail. I started my second single title on Thanksgiving Day and pushed myself to see how long it would take me to finish it. I finished it the middle of February and was very proud of myself for being so fast.

To date, I've published four novels and two short stories in an anthology.

A few years ago, I married a wonderful man. You can bet my Green Beret turned Plumber will be an inspiration for a future book. In my spare time, I show the above-mentioned Hanoverian mare, in dressage. I'm also a rabid Seattle Seahawks and Mariners fan through thick and thin. Lately, I've developed an interest in gardening.

An avid boater, I've spent countless hours in Washington State's San Juan Islands, the most beautiful place on earth, and the setting for "Who's" and "The Dance." You'll see more books in the future set on these islands. My banner and several other pictures on this site were taken in that area.

Currently, I'm a PAN member of RWA and three RWA chapters: Peninsula, Greater Seattle, and Olympia. I'm co-president of the Olympia chapter with fellow writer Anthea Lawson. I spearhead the annual Elizabeth Kistler Memorial Retreat in Port Townsend at Manresa Castle for the Olympia chapter.

MOVIE REVIEW - MIDNIGHT IN PARIS

"When Inez goes off dancing with her friends, Gil takes a walk at midnight and discovers what could be the ultimate source of inspiration for writing. Gil's daily walks at midnight in Paris could take him closer to the heart of the city but further from the woman he's about to marry."

Author: Woody Allen
Lenght: 1 h 34 minutes
Release time: August 2011
Form: Movie (through Viaplay in Finland)
Genre: Contemporary Romance / Comedy
Buy: Watch / $8.99 (Amazon Instant Video)
Clips: Trailer

"Gil and Inez travel to Paris as a tag-along vacation on her parents' business trip. Gil is a successful Hollywood writer but is struggling on his first novel.

He falls in love with the city and thinks they should move there after they get married, but Inez does not share his romantic notions of the city or the idea that the 1920s was the golden age. When Inez goes off dancing with her friends, Gil takes a walk at midnight and discovers what could be the ultimate source of inspiration for writing.

Gil's daily walks at midnight in Paris could take him closer to the heart of the city but further from the woman he's about to marry."  ~ From Imdbs

Midnight in Paris was genuinely charming, idealistic and fun. I'm usually not into Woody Allen movies, but after seeing a .gif in Tumblr I decided to give this movie a go. And I do have a soft spot of 1920's so this matched me so well. Not once did I feel bored or wanted to do something else, I was completely invested even though I really have never liked Owen Wilson in movies.

I loved the set of characters! Gil's midnight journeys to the golden age of Paris was interesting idea, I loved seeing Scott Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Picasso, Dali and Cole Porter. I also loved Rachel McAdams as Gil's fiancee and her intellectual friends - kudos to Michael Sheen being thoroughly annoying snob. I also loved Gil's inspiration quest through Paris nights to find meaning for his writing, with Parisian music and lit city it was mesmerizingly beautiful and immediately made me want to visit old Paris.

The idea of traveling back to 1920 and beginning to fall in love with the muse of the greatest artist of the time is dreamily romantic and Marion Cotillard is so enchanting to watch  it makes the romance even more etheric.

Now excuse me as I book a plain ticket to Paris and hope to catch that car at Midnight and visit one very fetching looking Fitzgerald, you know, to help with me writing. ;)

Will friendships be destroyed? Will lovers emerge?"  ~ From Goodreads

First little something, I actually thought until yesterday that this review was going to go up on Saturday, not Friday, so I didn't manage to read through the whole book. :( But I believe the stuff I loved about this book didn't change.

The writing by Ms. Gucker was interesting, when I was looking at the cover I expected something heavier but she had a nice light way of writing, Lanie was cute and little bit clutsy with her emotions. There we heavier parts but I really did enjoy the lightness of her writing. I always enjoy a good love triangle and Gucker writes a very interesting one, I kept expecting a threesome any moment as Lanie was seriously attracted to both men.

Now lets get to Grant and Dane. Yes, lets do that. Talk about two yummy points of a triangle! And their focus and intentions to Lanie was very very sexy! And the guys were very well built - let's face it if we were Lanie we would want both. ;) Why pick between a man's man, sexy and a little rugged or handsome wealthy with gorgeous body?

Now if you excuse me I'm dying to know how this ends,so better go read how it ends. Enjoyeing the Cliffhangehers, got it, Cliff, cliffhangers. I recommend you get this baby too, it's great fun to read, sexy, exciting and romantic!

Sexiness of Jealous Men
by Christie A.C. Gucker

When I was originally asked to write a blog on the topic of how a jealous man can be sexy, I found myself in quite the conundrum. Jealousy is such an ugly emotion especially when there is no basis for it. If your significant other can’t handle you even speaking to anyone of the opposite sex and is constantly keeping tabs on your whereabouts or accusing you of cheating, it can lead to the destruction of your relationship and a bucket load of resentment. Trust is so important between two people but can sometimes be too hard to establish when the likes of jealousy rear its ugly head. And of course if you've caused your partner to be jealous because you are actually doing something to stir that pot, then getting back trust is even harder than establishing it in the first place.

Don’t get me wrong, if you’re in a trusting relationship and this emotion is not happening on a daily basis, it can lead to quite a few rewarding things. Jealousy can be healthy as well. How, you say, after I've spouted so much already about the evils of jealousy?

When your partner sees someone getting close to you, a little too close, that pang of jealousy sets in motion; they want to claim you as their property, territory, or just theirs. Knowing your partner still feels those deep feelings of not wanting to lose you can be one of the sexiest things out there. Not only that but it can make you feel more attractive and special. Sometimes your mate will go out of their way to make sure you’re firmly in place beside them. Can you imagine how flattering it is to have your partner want to woo you more because they don’t want anyone to get their hands on you?

My husband sometimes gets jealous if an old friend who I might have dated reaches out to contact me. He begins to question if things are boring with him, or that I might have had a great relationship with this other person and might find it looks more attractive than him. He, of course, has been with me for years and we have things like kids, the house and bills that can make our relationship more work and not as much fun. Am I bored with him? Is that sexual tension gone? Would it be there with this other person? That’s when hubby starts to turn on the charm. I get an extra kiss for no reason, or maybe a little note. He makes a point of holding my hand in public or draping an arm around me if a man stares a bit too long. He puffs out his chest and holds himself differently. He might also get a bit more amorous in the bedroom. Wink wink. Yeah, in this case, jealousy is sexy as hell.

Now this is all very rampant in the animal kingdom. Think about it. We see it all the time with the likes of peacocks spreading tail feathers in a display saying, “Hey look at me, I’m the hottest one here.” Or we see male animals fighting over a female. I would never encourage my husband to fight over me in fact I think it would probably freak me out a bit. But it’s in those instances that make you feel sexy and in turn your mate looks sexy as hell too. If my husband reads this he’ll of course ask me why I am comparing him to a peacock or he might wonder if some ex boyfriend has contacted me. Not to worry, because I am pretty honest with him all of the time – we even share an email address – so he has nothing to worry about. But I sure do love the feeling that I am still attractive to him and he still worries about losing me. That is what makes jealousy sexy as well for sure.

BOOK SPOTLIGHT - REVELATION

"This revelation will bring justifiable consequences.

Some fairytales begin with once upon a time and end with happily ever after. Revelation, book 2 in The Pedalstem Lillies series, is a not that fairytale.

Join Blaze once again, as she struggles through the darkness. Her adventure for the truth is deadly as it’s pieced together with schemes, plots and wicked intentions. A violent disagreement finds her out and about, with a man whose presence is forbidden, and is forced to seek shelter. Heat and electricity engulf them as the oncoming storm reveals the secrets. Exhausted and breathless, their plan for revenge awakens with sunrise.

The scene is set and the lines are drawn. Purity & Power VS. Menace & Mayhem. Who will be left standing when the magic clears?"

Although I have always enjoyed writing, the dream to become a writer came when I read A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare, in the sixth grade. My early works, not published, were in the form of children’s stories I would read to my two daughters. I divide my days between the real world and the ones I’ve created. My life and my characters keep me very busy in my Mid-Western scene, where I live with my husband, and my children (both human and furry.)

Service Ace by Cassandra Carr
"Callum Giovanni's professional tennis career is over. He's trying not to be bitter about it, even though it means teaching women more interested in not messing up their hair and nails than a good service. Then Adriana Macy appears, claiming to be a novice, but Callum knows there's more to her than meets the eye. How far does she want to take their personal match? The ball's in her court."

Fun short and sexy sports tale, with some sports lingo but mostly all the hot intensity. I loved that there was Callum's point of view, I tend to like erotic romance from a man's point of view. Even though short this was very entertaining, I liked the background information and how Callum and Adriana approached each other. Also quite hot, the whole action on the hood. ;) Cassandra Carr never seems to disappoint me!

"A relationship is the last thing Lexie is looking for, especially one with a hot cowboy wanting golf lessons. It's all she can do to keep her focus on the game and off Jay’s hard muscled body and devilishly sexy face. But the more lessons they have, the farther his sexy drawl gets under her skin. Does he feel the attraction too? Mother Nature forces them to seek shelter as the power of nature lets loose around them. Will they go primal and unleash their attraction for one another amidst the rawness of the Rocky Mountains?"

I quite liked this, it was very heavy and imaginative from the start even though nothing happened until the end.  Lexie was very hot and bothered by the cowboy, and let's face it who wouldn't be, and the storm arriving at a very opportune moment was just very... lucky. The get together itself was interesting but could have had bit more, not quite sure what.

Up to the Hilt by Cynthia Carr
"Olympic fencing wunderkind Sebastian Como is Rina Rogers’ last resort to find someone who can instruct her toward her own Olympic medal. All her other trainers have balked, saying she is too impulsive, too unmanageable, too everything. Sebastian recognizes her talent and tells her he'll take her all the way. But does that include his bed?"

My favorite of the three, even thought I found Rina very annoying in the beginning and very childish with no redeeming qualities. But when Sebastian had his coachly powers tested on her she became more human, and I started to enjoy the story and the writing, and then I loved it. Lots of passion, lots of sexy games and quite piraty finale! ;)

Over all opinion - Very good little anthology! Sexy, charming, hot and heavy with passion and nice little details. I only thing that bothers me is the cover and the fact that you can see the girl's face, which isn't very attractive, or her body position. I would have been very happy with the guy and the golf course alone. ;)

Sexy Athletes & why women love them
by Cassandra Carr

When Cristal Ryder came to me with the idea to a sports-theme anthology, I was ALL IN. I love sports. I love athletes. Especially well-toned, male athletes. We started discussing how we wanted the anthology to be themed, and came up with three sports (when we added Cindy Carr as a third author): golf, tennis, and fencing.

Each of these sports has sexy athletes. I'd show you actual pictures, but since they're copyrighted, I can't, so here are some links...

Now that I've got you warmed up...here are the blurbs for the stories!

So why do women love athletes? Let us count the ways:
1. Their bodies: Let's be real here, women. We like hot bods.
2. Their skill: Watching anyone be so good at something is exciting, it's impressive.
3. Their focus: These guys had to get through a lot of stuff to make it this far. Imagine that focus transferred to you.
4. Their energy/stamina: While I'm sure there are quick-spout athletes, the stories I've heard don't seem to suggest that's too big of a problem.

Now that you've heard some of my reasons, what are yours? Tell me in the comments!
