Seriously, what can I say? I love short paranormal suspense stories! And you can really beat the bunch line here all the proceeds go to the Cancer Foundation. :) No one can feel bad about buying this book. I really enjoyed all the stories, I loved the Halloween theme!

I feel like I'm so bad at reviewing anthologies - because a good anthology to me has stories in an order that makes sense to a reader, which Entangled has. But I find it hard to evaluate the stories on there own when there are many. But here they all are:

I enjoyed Halloween Frost for the emotional side, Fat Cat for the telepathic kitty humor, Medium Rare for Colleen and Bricks' chemistry, Sweet Demon for the second chance romance, Sian's Solution for the excitement, A Bit of Bite for detectiveness and Halloween ;) , Sinfully Sweet for sexy baking business, A Night of Forever for Victorian Era vampire in lust, Feel The Magic for fun action, Breaking Out for suspense, Halloween, experiments and the action and Ghostly Justice for the chase!

I will say though, as there are lot of sequels sometimes you get caught in thinking you are bit lost or something is explained bit much.

And I will say this will make you wanna pick up more books by some of the authors, like I would want to read more by Nancy Haddock for sure!

This is for paranormal suspense lover who enjoy a little romance in there as well! :D

I really wanted to like Spring to Summer, the blurb was beautiful and the stories seemed interesting at first glance. So why didn't I like it? Was it the writing? No, the writing was beautiful, very deep and introverted and emotional. Was it the plots? No. The plots had substance and depth of emotion and passion.

You are asking, so why then? It simply wasn't for me. I expected four erotic novellas - now ladies I read a lot of erotic romances and absolutely love'm - and what I got was not what I expected. This book was more Anaïs Nin style than the stories I'm use to of reading these days ( I have a read my fair share of her erotic novellas, and that is why I can appreciate Baylee's writing ). I expected hot steamy "can't-help-myself" kinda sexy love affairs and I got poets and depth.

So you see it wasn't bad, but it's wasn't for me. The lovers of poems and deeper contemporary literature will love this I'm sure! Me? I'm bit more smut about my erotica. ;) Okay, so the rating below is based on where the book fits with my current reading habits and the style of this blog. Was I reviewing this few years back the rating might be completely different (4.5), but so would the blog too.

Has all the makings to be the beginning of a great suspense novella, after reading this I felt like the story cut at the most interesting part and wanted to know what Lina was going to do, was her husband to be feared or loved. I want to read more!

Where Rabbits Run Wild by Trip Williams
The beginning had a cool thriller wibe to it, alone in the snowy woods, working with small crew of men who knew something was out there in the woods. But turned out to something more amusing. Great writing from Williams, this story was an interesting apetiser to hunt down something else he's written.
