Pothos God of Sexual Yearning visits an aussie couple on their 20th Anniversay night to ignite the passion that's been non-existent lately.

Jeannie has been wanting the spark back and Jake has had a fantasy of a man joining them in bed, as much for him as for her. Believing Pothos' visit is a dream they give into their wildest desires - and end up spending one sweaty, passion filled night on the beach with the God of Love.

This short novella begun with almost a dream like haze, Lynne really wrote it so dream like it didn't feel corny or fake but smooth flowing like a dream would. Whenever the point of view shifted to Jake things became more substantial and real, from emotions to urges.

I hadn't read M/M love scenes before this ( so there goes my M/M cherry! ;) ) and I have to say I loved how Lynne wrote it! It was masculine, rougher, more urgent and I didn't think it weird like I thought maybe I would have. As interesting as that was I'm still a M/F girl with M/F/M side. ;)

I liked Pothos and Jake the best, Jeannie was mostly fighting her connection to Pothos even though she believed she was dreaming, which made her uber loyal, or aware that it wasn't just a dream after all. That little ½ star that would have made this novella great was the dialogue, it needed a tad bit more believability and bit less cliché.

Talking about the hotness rating of this book, sizzling! This really was erotic romance! With the foreplay, girl sandwich and a guy sandwich Platinum Passion was all kind of delicious with one adonis of a Greek god of love and yearning thrown in the mix!

Hi Lynn, thanks for your comment. I use reviews to hone my TBR list as well. As a book lover and reader as well as an author, I find reviews and recommendations really useful.
Thanks and you're welcome!
Just stopping in to let you know that I'm off to bed (here in Melbourne it's 11pm now!) but I'll be checking back first thing in the morning to answer any queries or comments. And I'm often awake during the night, so if I end up tossing and turning tonight I could well be back here in 2-3 hours :)
Since I'm a "new" fiction/vampire/action/romance writer (on an 69 yr. old chassis) I enjoy seeing what other writers are doing! In the first book, "Immortal Relations" (of the I.R. series) I document my own father's trist while stationed overseas (immediately after WW-II) and the book takes off from there to discuss warefare between guardian vampires who have a simbiotic relationship with humans and those who wantonly hope to feed and destroy. Best of luck on your virtual tour...I'm still trying to figure all this promotion stuff out - I like your site and probably should get someone with I.T. skills to help me build my own.
