RANDOM BOOK LIFE OF NIINA #1

We got a new bookshelf! And I got to say, where were all these books stored before this!? Floor? Behind other books? Dry storage? Different dimention? Well nevermind... atleast they have a new home now. :) This is the third bookshelf in our home! <3 I love books! And it's so nice to see them all lined up and happy to get some air. ;)

That our front hall it's in, so the first thing that I see when I come home is books. LOL! Though I think sooner than later we are going to need another white bookshelf next to it. ;) White just goes well with a the slightly broken green/teal color. <3 Can you spot "Twilight" and Doctor Phil's "Self Matters" there? ;)

PRIEST - MOVIE

"A priest disobeys church law to track down the vampires who kidnapped his niece." 

Bit more precicely this is a movie for those of us who appresiate Dystopia - the fight between vampires (not human) and men have been everlasting, the end result is that humans now live in fortresses protected by the Church (eerie slogans and church/police state), that has strayed heavily from it's purpose, it's warriors the Priests eradicate the vampires driving them into extinction and colonies, or so it seems. Now the Priests are useless forced to assimilate to the life in the guarded cities. Good for nothing.

It is when when a stranger comes to a Priest's appartment in one of the Church controlled cities and tells of the attack on his brother's home and the abduction of his niece that the Priest defies the Church and sets to bring her back or kill her, depending if she's made a vampire slave or not.

Very much worth watching if you like your vampire killers with a black mood and highly leathal and your imaginary world once destroyed to wastelands. I recommend this movie, to those of us who read Dystopia and Urban Fantasy, it's a gem in that regard! (Out in May 2011)

Question : If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

NO SPOILERS!!!

Answer : Oh tough one! I don't know if I'd change anything... ofcourse the series have the bad habit of continueing so my answer might have to be taken back when the next book on the The Demon Lover Trilogy comes out. "The Demon Lover" tells about a woman who is visited nightly by a dark handsome man in erotic dreams, he's a demon lover who is draining her life force every night he sleeps with her. I can't tell more but god, the ending, I have never been so frustrated. I actually shouted at my husband's delight while he played Assasin's Creed II "It can't end like that!" and scared the bejesus out of him, didn't kill Ezio though. Which is good because he is hot, the sexy as hell, armored smooth talking italian assassinating evil, kinda Hot. If I'd have to pick a video game boyfriend it'd be him. ;) Yum!
I have the Demon Lover Review coming up 2 weeks before the book is released ( 27th of Dec 2011).

This Week's Question : If you could spend the day with your favorite heroine, who would you pick and what would you do?

Answer : The Red Reaper, absolutely, she is interesting, witty and never has a bored moment. What would we do? We'd go vampire hunting ofcourse - though being a novice I'd ask her to take me to one of them small towns with young vampires.... I don't have a death wish you see. ;)

This Week's Question : What’s your book with weather events? Hurricanes? Tornadoes? Blizzards? Real? Fiction? Doesn’t matter … weather comes up a lot in books, so there’s got to be a favorite somewhere, huh?

Answer : I have to say when the weather is stormy I go for darker books, by mood, not really into horror that is. I loved reading Twilight during one fall storm. Other good choices for stormy weather would J.R.Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood, there is enough angst there and confliction emotions that it goes just perfectly, not to mention the yummy sexual tension! it's especially good choice as the brothers are only about at night, being vampires, it adds to the mix. Yes, most definately BDB!
