INFO - A FALL BREAK

Hi,

You might be aware that I started a new job a month ago, what you might not be aware of is that it's sucking the life out of me currently... not fun, I assure you. So what I have to do, to stay sane and on top of all my reviews, interviews and guest blogs is the following...

I have to cancel the Reviews for the next month ( I hope it's enough time to fix whats broken ) - I will be posting the Interviews, Spotlights and Guest Blogs - seriously you wouldn't want me Reviewing in this negative state to start with.

Sorry to have to do this but I just can't handle the stress of work and the schedule I normally keep up with reading and reviewing.

Sorry.

Let's all hope a month will do it!

#1 I started a book review blog 2 years ago, I only review romance there (oh, link, HERE)
#2 I’ve been making book covers and other graphics for authors for a year now, time flies!
#3 I’m dead scared of spiders, only small ones, not big ones (where is the logic in that!?)
#4 I live between a church and cemetery ;), but am not haunted.
#5 My day job is a kindergarten teacher, 7.5 hours a day – other hours are all mine, no kids, but I do have an American hubby that tagged along from one of my US trips and a black (now grey) puppy of 15-years. Love them both dearly.
#6 Love men in uniforms! I use to work close to a navy officer training station… yum. ;)

VLOG ~ BACK PAIN, HOSPITAL AND BOOKS

My newest VLOG, it's been like 6 weeks, and here is why:

THE BREAK AND THE REASON

It would be cool to give a reason for this break in the line of "I was writing a book", "had some commercial to do" or "had a date with my favorite Author" but alas its not so.

I took off January and February because I was having health issues, I was optimistic that by March they would have been over, but not that much luck yet.

The reason for my apsense is a prolapsed disk, or so the docs say. The reason I took this break is not because I can't read ;) but because sitting is murder on my back, and running this blog takes plenty of online time.

There have been few Video Reviews which are easier for me to do. And while I hope to be healty soon the Break continues.

I have decided to add a new dimensions to my rating, accompanying my future reviews are The DRINKS, these babies measure the fun aspect of the book! Is it funny, maybe just amusing or is is flat out hilarious! Or, maybe, not funny at all... dun dun Duh! I feel you need to know.

I also though it necessary to re-name the covers - I though Basic sounded better as Simple ( because it is pretty simple and clean cut ), and Elaborate as Classic ( as it turns out this is my bestseller! ) and Supreme as High End ( it just sounds classier doesn't it ;) ? ).

SEXY SATURDAY COVER

Good morning Saturday! How was your week? Mine was mindbogglingly awful. Had a nasty flu, 'nuff said.
And now I'm finally feeling better and it's Saturday I'm going to a Pin Up Store opening and life is looking great! Any plans for today? Other than given a nice long look at this cover...

Placing yourselves in the role of a badass heroine, with obviously cool powers, who says we shouldn't have a  nice muscular, tattooed, gun wielding sidekick? ;) That's right our sidekick will have to have the powers of lickable six back, solid pecs, great guns and good looks... the last isn't a must, the dude can wear a mask if unnecessary  ;) Happy Saturday ya'll!

On a side note: did you notice the new layout/header/button? Reason for such a drastic change? ;) I went to the hair salon last week and went from a brunette to copper in honor of Autumn and Amy Pond.

TODAY'S BEAUTY BUYS

Hi there!

Okay - so I posted last week about My May Favorites and I mentioned the talented and beautiful Tiffany D and her make-up tutorials. She has completely gotten me hooked on make-up again ( this is where hubby goes, uh-oh ) and I got some essential nude shades for the whole summer bronze look today!

Let me show you what I got! But first I had to do some organizing as my jewelry drawer became my make-up drawer ( the before pic was pretty much after I got all my jewelry arranged on the cabinet and this was what was left - trust me I have like 6 pounds worth of bling ;) )
