Bethany Michaels : Thanks! Happy to be here!
Niina : Let’s get started! Can you tell my readers here 4 fun unknown facts about you so we can break the ice?
Bethany : I am from a very, very small town in Indiana and like to drop Easter eggs with my town's name in some of my books; I live in Nashville, TN now, but never listened to country music before I moved here; I am a HUGE Elvis fan; like all good pagan-leaning types, I love the outdoors.
Niina : Tell us something about your book My Favorite Fantasy: Tripled, that we wouldn’t know just by reading the blurb?
Bethany : My work generally skates the line between really hot mainstream romance and mild erotic romance, but the final scene in Tripled is probably the kinkiest love scene I've written (so far). I think it works for the characters and the situation, though--it's not in there just for shock value. As a reader, I hate books/scenes like that!
Niina : What chapter did you most enjoyed writing and why?
Bethany : The scenes with London and Nick. I like the buddy-buddy dialogue and gentle, teasing relationship they have was really fun to write. The sexy clay scene with London and Collin was a close second, though :)
Niina : yes, that good. ;) How did you find your cover come about?
Bethany : I actually created my own cover for this one. I wanted something a little sassy and something that showed this was a fun ménage story. I'm not a big fan of the stark "50 Shades" type covers, but I don't like really explicit covers either. I enjoy the creative aspect of using graphics software to create a visual representation of my book. I can't draw, but Photoshop I can manage :)
Niina : What are three words each that would describe your heroes the best?
Bethany : Fun, sensual, strong. My two heroes are all that, but each in his own way.
Niina : What does it take to write a really hot love scene?
Bethany : Ideally an empty house, good music and a glass of wine, LOL! But realistically I have to write whenever and wherever I get the chance, so some of my hottest love scenes have been written in places like the park, the kids' dentist office and the McDonald's Playland. It doesn't matter so much what's going on around me as long as I can picture the scene in my head and kind of be in the "zone". My husband is always happy to read my love scenes and give feedback :)
Niina : LOL, I am sure. ;) What's the best part about being an author? And what’s the worst?
Bethany : The best part is letting my imagination run wild--indulging in all the "what-ifs". I love coming up with the characters, giving them problems to solve and watching them fall in love. The most difficult part is actually getting the first draft of what I imagine down on paper the way I see it in my head. That's the work part!
Niina : Now to more personal questions! What’s the biggest turn on in a guy, fictional or real life?
Bethany : Self-confidence, intelligence and a sense of humor. Also, a great butt. :)
Niina : What’s the sexiest article of clothing on a guy?
Bethany : I like the tight t-shirt look--where you can just make out the guy's six-pack and see that his biceps are really putting a strain on the armholes of his shirt!
Niina : What’s the naughtiest book you've read this year?
Bethany : Emma Holly's The Billionaire Bad Boy Club. It's a really HOT MMF romance. I also liked Sylvia Day's Crossfire series and my friend Lexi Ryan's super sexy Text Appeal.
Niina : What is your favorite guilty Christmas pleasure?
Bethany : Cookies. I don't bake much the rest of the year, but we do cookies big time around the holidays!
Niina : Which Disney Prince would you pick if you had to choose?
Bethany : I've always had a thing for Aladdin. He doesn't rely on his riches to get by like most of the princely Disney heroes. He's a guy who gets things done through his determination, smarts and charisma. Plus he's totally fine with wearing no shirt, just that little vest, LOL!
Niina : LOL! Before we finish, here are some Quick Fire Questions:
Gingerbread cookies or Candy sticks? Gingerbread
Ice-skating or Skiing? Skiing
Hockey or Football? Football (go Colts!)
Christmas Tree or Christmas Lights? Tree, but I prefer the outdoor living kind
Shots or Wine? Wine

Sexier : A guy holding your hand or touching your hair? touching my hair
Sexier : Eyes or Lips? Eyes
Romance or Erotic Romance? Erotic romance
Erotica or Erotic Romance? Erotic romance

"Although she’s very comfortable with her sexuality, London does have one big secret: she has a huge crush on her best friend and roommate, Nick. When he walks in on her with another man, London and Nick begin to look at one another as much more than platonic beer and reality TV- watching buddies. But just as they begin to think about moving their relationship to a new level, London falls in lust with a sexy stranger who she instantly connects with in a way that’s not possible with Nick.
Each man fulfills part of what she needs and even though it will be difficult, London knows she needs to make a choice. It’s either earthy, laid back Nick who has always been there for her or the artistic, intellectual and carnal equal she’s found in Collin. Luckily the guys come up with a better plan: convince London that two really are better than one!" ~ From Goodreads
Bethany Michaels knows how to write sexy! Wither it's slow, seducing, sensual sexy ( Collin ) or fast, hot and steamy sexy ( Nick ), she's got the touch! Good erotic romance has to have a strong writer for it to be pulled off without a hitch, and Ms. Michaels is a strong writer, you can tell by the first few pages - so reading the book is no hardship. ;)
Holy chemistry, Batman! It's almost like two great movies in one Pretty in Pink ( if Ducky were hotter ) and 9 ½ Weeks mushed together! No wonder Ms. Michaels is RT Award nominee, she writes them good! I truly enjoyed London even if she was bit of a nymphomaniac and I loved Collins artistry and sensuality and Nick's passion and fire for his best friend. Good stuff!
Of course I was rooting for Nick and London to get together! I absolutely love the best friend plot in a romance. But without revealing any bunch lines I will leave you here to consider getting this one seriously multidimensional erotic read!
This would have definitely been a five star read if it were full length and London less of a horny girl. ;)
