Kennedy starts this novella with both guns blazing, and not being a regular BDSM reader ( in fact this is only my second book in the genre ) I was bit taken back, but it soon turned to a proper story with Blake having set the whole thing up to get a second chance. Which I loved! I like guys to be a little sneaky about getting what they want.
Not much Christmas decorations in this, it's pretty much, snowy cabin and then they get it on. Very much to the point. ;)
What I liked about this was the tension and emotions between Blake and Taryn when she figures out just what's been going on behind her back / blindfold. This story has a sweet undertone, with Blake willing to do anything to fix what was broken.
If you don't mind some serious spanking and toys then you might like this. But like the warning says, if you're not into BDSM then this novella isn't for you.
