I enjoyed this! I love sci-fi ( quite a nerd about it really ) and I love those e-mail order bride storylines, so I was excited to read this! It came out pretty quickly ( and the book is only 78 pages so no wonder ) that Jasper wasn't there for all the right reasons, which caused quite the commotion.
Kat and Jasper had an instant attraction that neither though was a good thing, but when their lives were at risk all proper behavior was out of the window and it was time for some stress releasing... which was hot. Chandra Ryan knows how to write a hot bedrooms scenes for sure! The chemistry wasn't blazing and but it was there even though both were fighting it to tooth and nail. And of course there has the be some sort of a happy ending for these two from-different-worlds characters - but - it was not what I expected, kudos for that!
As the self-professed sci-fi nerd, I would have wanted more sci-fi nerdiness. ;) Other than that I had fun with this hot little read with a good amount of suspense to keep things entertaining!
